Abstract
Indonesian construction faces great challenges and opportunities in adopting modern construction technology. The keyword-based research method is in the form of "Construction Method Technology in Indonesia", with article search sources from google scholar, the range of literature review years of the last 4 years (2022-2026) and the selection of literature review criteria is based on 10 journal articles then 6 libraries that have similar criteria, then linked to the policy target in law number 59 of 2024 concerning the RPJPN for 2020 - 2045 which was revealed in Presidential Regulation number 12 Year 2025 about the 2025-2029 RPJMN. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the challenges of implementing Construction Technology in Indonesia include the limitation of skilled human resources in the field of construction technology development, rejection of labor culture. infrastructure, material and high cost limitations, initial cost and complexity of the project, regulatory, bureaucratic, and risk barriers, Privacy Risks, Legal Aspects, Regulation, and Project Administration. Opportunities for the Application of Construction Technology in Indonesia include digitization and adoption of IoT-based BIM Technology, the use of precast methods (in workshops) and based on direct work in projects, Automation and Acceleration of Facility Provision, Sustainable Construction (Green Construction). The conclusion of the study is that the Government Policies contained in Presidential Regulation number 12 of 2025 concerning the 2025-2029 RPJMN and Law number 59 of 2024 concerning the 2020-2045 RPJPN have been in line with the challenges and opportunities for the development of construction technology in Indonesia in terms of strengthening and supporting policy regulations as a whole and nationally.
