The 5th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (InCAF 5) is organized by the Master of Accounting Program (MAKSI), Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Islam Indonesia.
We welcome empirical, conceptual, and review papers that examine how accounting and finance can adopt intelligent technologies, strengthen sustainability, and protect professional integrity and public trust. Papers that speak directly to the theme are given priority in session allocation and journal recommendation.

Theme-relevant angles include AI and data analytics in audit and reporting, algorithmic bias and accountability, ESG and sustainability assurance, greenwashing, fraud detection, regulatory frameworks for innovation, and competencies for future accountants.
Only complete, original full papers in English are accepted; abstract-only submissions are not reviewed.
The manuscript must not be published, accepted, or under review elsewhere, including other conference proceedings.
The overall similarity index must not exceed 20%, with no single source above 3%, excluding the reference list. The committee runs its own check.
Written in clear academic English, preferably proofread before submission. Indonesian manuscripts are not accepted for InCAF.
5,000–8,000 words for the full paper (12–20 pages in the template), including tables, figures, and references.
A maximum of five authors per paper. Each author may appear on no more than three submitted papers. At least one author must register and present.
AI tools may be used for language editing only. Any other use (e.g., data analysis, literature search, drafting) must be declared in a statement before the References. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the content.
Studies involving human participants must state how informed consent and data confidentiality were handled. Data fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and citation manipulation lead to rejection.
Manuscripts follow the section order below, as used in the InCAF Proceeding. Main section headings (5 to 9 and 12) are written in capital letters.
Front matter
Concise and informative, maximum 15 words, in sentence case.
Full names without academic titles; department, institution, city, and country. Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) and include an email address.
150–250 words in one paragraph, with no citations. State the purpose, design/method, findings, and originality or implications.
Four to six keywords or phrases, separated by commas.
Main sections
Background, research gap, research question, and contribution.
Theoretical foundation and hypotheses or propositions. Conceptual papers may use "Literature Review and Conceptual Development".
Data, sample, variables and measurement, and analysis technique, in enough detail to be replicated. Not required for conceptual papers.
Findings linked back to theory and prior studies.
Conclusion, theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and directions for future research.
Back matter
Funding sources and grant numbers.
Required when AI tools were used beyond language editing.

All citations and references follow APA 7th edition. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and every reference must be cited in the text.
Use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote with the APA 7th style.
Prioritize reputable, peer-reviewed sources; limit unpublished works, theses, and non-academic websites.
Include a DOI as a full link (https://doi.org/...) whenever one exists.
Order the reference list alphabetically by the first author's surname, with a 1 cm hanging indent.
