Abstract
Innovation in the Indonesian construction industry has increasingly focused on construction digitalization using Building Information Modelling (BIM). BIM supports stakeholder coordination and collaboration throughout project implementation. In the renovation project of Maguwoharjo Stadium, BIM was applied to model both the existing building conditions and the post-renovation structures. This study utilized data from the design consultant and contractor, including Detail Engineering Drawings (DED) and shop drawings. The modelling process was conducted using Autodesk Revit. The BIM models represent the existing and renovated buildings. However, BIM has limitations in capturing minor construction activities, such as paint removal during column jacketing works. Therefore, BIM mainly contributes to storing and managing information related to reinforcement and newly added concrete. Additionally, information on the demolition of existing walls and the installation of new walls overlaps in the model because these elements occupy the same location. In contrast, differences between existing and new column–beam elements in the ticketing building can be more clearly identified, although the level of detail remains limited.
