Abstract
The Proliman Intersection in Bojonegoro Regency is a four-leg junction. Located in a commercial area with high activity levels, particularly on the southern leg near the Semarang–Surabaya double-track railway crossing. The Proliman Flyover is planned to reduce congestion and improve safety, and the purpose of this study is to analyze intersection performance under existing and future operational conditions. The study area covers seven intersections around Proliman , using secondary data including intersection geometry, traffic volumes, population data, and vehicle ownership data, and analyzed using PKJI 2023, with traffic performance evaluated according to Ministerial Regulation No. 96 of 2015. The results show that STB 1 operates at Level of Service D with high delay, while STB 3, STB 4, STB 6, and STB 7 operate at Level of Service B, and STB 5 operates at LOS C with relatively high delay. Two alternative traffic diversion routes were assessed, differing mainly in movements from the south toward the east and west, where Alternative 1 directs traffic through Jl. Pande Besi, while Alternative 2 directs movements through the flyover followed by a u-turn. Alternative 2 was selected as the optimal solution because it distributes traffic more evenly, reduces potential conflict points, and improves the performance of STB 1 to LOS B with delay reduced from 27.21 to 14.21 sec/pcu, while increases in delay at STB 3, STB 4, STB 6, and STB 7 remain within Level of Service B and STB 5 declines to LOS C due to increased traffic volume.
