Abstract
Control laboratories are essential facilities in education and research in the fields of electrical engineering and information technology. However, inventory management of control laboratory equipment is still largely done manually, which can lead to errors and data loss. An application-based approach enables automation of the inventory process, reducing workload, eliminating human error, and increasing data accuracy. Equipment inventory needs to be well-managed so that organizational operations can run smoothly. Therefore, this research develops an Android-based information system application for control laboratory equipment inventory management, aiming to facilitate inventory management, monitor equipment condition, and minimize errors and data loss. This research uses a systematic and sequential waterfall method, including needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application is developed using the Kodular platform. The test results show that the application can help and simplify the recording of equipment inventory data, facilitate the process of data collection and numbering of equipment effectively and efficiently. Based on compatibility testing, the application can be installed on various devices with different Android versions. Testing was conducted using a questionnaire method through respondents based on display and system aspects, with an average result of 80.7%. Additionally, based on communication and interaction aspects, the average result was 82.2%. Overall, the results obtained were very good from respondents.
