Kreativitas Pengembangan Keagamaan Masjid Nurul Islam Klitren Lor, Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta

The community service program in Klitren Lor, Yogyakarta, aims to enhance residents’ religious understanding through various mosque-based activities. The main problems identified are, first, the limited number of individuals capable of performing Islamic funeral care, and second, the lack of platforms for youth development. Given the community’s diverse socioeconomic and religious background, systematic efforts are needed to strengthen their religious foundation. This program includes training on funeral care and youth development activities designed to help them navigate the digital era. The implementation method involves two main activities: (1) digital content creation training for youth, and (2) socialization and training on Islamic funeral care for women, using the digital content produced by the youth participants. The program was successfully conducted, as evidenced by women participants practicing funeral care under the supervision of an instructor, and youth participants producing digital content and creating an official mosque Instagram account to share it. However, the program faced certain challenges, particularly the limited participation of youth in the digital content creation competition.
